Hello all!

Hi everyone! I'm creating this blog to chronicle my travels, hatmaking, and daily life. I will be leaving for Africa on January 8th (yes, two days!) for Pretoria, South Africa where I will be interning at Muphamuzi Baby Home. If you are interested in reading more about what I'm doing, here is the article I read this summer that got me interested: Interns at Muphamuzi Baby Home. Muphamuzi Baby Home is affiliated with Living Hope Church (in Pretoria) and 1Hope Ministries International (you can find them on Facebook). I will be returning on May 27th, so I will be gone for almost 5 months. No, I have not started packing yet! ;)That is on my agenda today, along with trips to the bank, the post office (to mail my last hat orders - I will also be posting more about my hat business later), Walmart, and who knows where else...lots of last minute things to do! Please be praying for me! I leave out of Cleveland at 6:20 P.M. on Wednesday.
